Ed is a long time area minister and preacher. Locally he's held positions at Norwin Christian Church and Cornerstone Christian Church. Ed started at HCC in 2015 and has brought a fresh vision and life to the congregation.
Eddie has been at HCC for his entire life and has been leading worship since 2005. The church brought him on officially as staff in 2016. Eddie has been involved with the upgrades of the multimedia ministry and the worship ministry.
Ed Sr. or Big Ed has been at HCC since the 1980s along with his wife Denise. Ed's dedication the congregation, community, and most importantly Christ is evident from the moment you meet him. Big Ed teaches our Sunday School classes and heads off our Wednesday Night ministry.
Johnny and his late wife Jane have been a part of HCC for decades. Johnny has been through thick and thin with our congregation. Serving as an elder and the Chairman of the Board, Johnny has dedicated himself to the work of Christ's Kingdom for longer than most of us have been alive.
Jimmy is the jack of all trades at our church, quite literally. If something needs repaired, Jimmy is on it. If there's a call to be made, Jimmy does it. Jimmy is the quiet guy in the room, but when he speaks everyone listens. Jimmy has acted as our primary trustee and building maintenance go to guy for years.
Brian is the numbers guru. He's the treasurer at HCC for the better part of the past 15 years. Brian is a life long Hazelwood resident who's family has been involved with the church for decades. He's also been an HCC lifer.
Eric and his wife Janette are relatively new to HCC, but have made a major impact in the short time they've been here. Eric is handyman that came in with big plans and has backed them up. Eric has a heart for hurting people and is about as selfless as they come.
Jim's family has been a part of HCC for a half century. His mom Lois and his sister Pam are backbones of the congregation doing all of the dirty work no one sees; Jim has joined them. Jim never says no to helping and is constantly looking for ways to help the congregation.
John is another guy who does a lot of the background cleaning and work that never gets noticed. John is a faithful member of the church and has been for over 15 years. John's selfless attitude, as well as his family's is one of the reasons that we are able to do what we do at HCC.
